Finding Words<\Break><\Break>
To Perform an EASY SEARCH
<\Break><\Indent 20> òClick the Search button on the toolbar to retrieve the Easy Search window.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òType a word or phrase in the entry box.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo run search, click on "Perform the Search" or press <enter> or <return> on your keyboard.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo cancel a search in progress, press the <esc> key (Windows) or the ≡ and . (period) keys simultaneously (Macintosh).
<\Break><\Indent 20> òIf you are in a book when you choose Easy Search, the target to be searched is automatically set to the book you're in.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òIf you are outside of a book, the whole disc will be searched.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òFull Text searching and Category search are accessible from the Easy Search window.<\Break><\Break>
To Perform a Full Text Search<\Break><\Break>
<\Break><\Indent 20> òClick on the first box to enter your first word or phrase.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òSelect "exact" match if you want to find only the letters you have entered.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òSearch defaults to finding any word that contains the entered letters.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òEnter a second word or phrase by clicking on the second box, and select a match.<\Break>
Note: the disc will find entered words or phrases within the same "page" on the disc.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òSelect "In" to select the portion of disc to search.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òSelect "Perform the Search" or press <enter> or <return> on your keyboard.
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo cancel a search in progress, press the <esc> key (Windows) or the ≡ and . (period) keys simultaneously (Macintosh).
<\Break><\Indent 20> òTo refine search results, enter new search criteria and perform the search on "Previous Results."
<\Break><\Indent 20> òAppend the results of a subsequent search to the previous set of results by selecting "Add to Previous Results."<\Break><\Break>
